Vows made in Winter

This is a gift for one of my friends, Cait, to cheer her up as she enters her second year at uni. This is a picture for a new collaboration project we're working on. This is her OC, Madeline and my OC, Caiden on their wedding day. He's the prince of a barbaric, wintry kingdom who is forced into an arranged marriage by his power-hungry father. (Who slit the throat of Caiden's mistress to ensure he'd go through with it- charming guy eh?)
Cait asked me to design a wedding gown for Madeline and I decided to do a full out picture of her and Caiden to surprise Cait!
I suck at backgrounds, so I do apologise in advance for the pitiful backdrop! (The blue wolf and gold lion in the background are symbols on Caiden's family shield.)
