'Save the last dance for me'

Hetta's line to John.
It was a moment of possibility- he had moved in to kiss her during a ball they had to attend during 'The Case of the Missing Emeralds' (The first story in the 'Hat-Trick Detective' Case Book)
And then Hetta ruined it by saying this.
The moment was lost- at least for now.
Seconds later, she realises who the thief is and the two are off chasing the criminal through the city streets.

This is a picture I did of my OCs Hetta Hartchase and her assistant detective John Miller, and I'm actually really pleased with the outcome!
