These are the four shields belonging to my heroes from my story 'Roar of Doves.'
I have made this to help people who are entering my 1 year anniversary (on DA) contest:
1 year anniversary ContestSo in a few days time, it will be my one year anniversary of being on DA- and what a year it's been! To celebrate, I will be doing an art lottery in the form of a Christmas advent calendar over December, but taking requests soon- so watch this space! Also, I am hosting another contest! Woot! The initial ideas are as follows: My four couples from my story 'Roar of Doves' I want them done in art nouveau style like this wonderful picture of another of my couples done by :iconsleyf: You can either do four seperate pictures or fit them all onto one page. The brides must be wearing these designs: (Info will be posted soon as to what the grooms should be wearing) The four couples are: *SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO ARE READING THE STORY* Partene and Kai Elysia and Lucan (More info will be posted later on today about who the four couples are) Partene and Kai's picture should incorperate phoenixe


From left to right:

Top row:

Lucan- who comes from the house of Lereto, and is duke of Steren, which is a small kingdom at the base of North and South Elgan, each half ruled by his twin brothers.
His shield contains the white star of Steren (which means 'star' ;) ) The centre also represents the symbol of the Bright One.

Cador- who is king of the Mer-People. His shield contains the blue swirls of the endless sea on a golden background to represent the golden stones of Moroven- his island.

Bottom row:
Kai- who comes from the Engyl race who live in the mountains, his shield is of a blue sky with a white mountain painted on it. In front is the golden feather of his household- his wings are also gold and silver.

Thorn- who is the illegitimate and only son of King Tynan, usurper of the Southern Continent and ruler of Mor-Sionn. Thorn's shield contains a white thorn-twig against a black heart. His mother gave him his name so that he would be a 'thorn in his father's side.'

Coat of arms are always great, I like the ones Bethesda made for the Holds in Skyrim, they're nice. ---> [link] the wolf is Solitude, the horse is Whiterun, swords is Riften, the bear is for the Stormcloaks, They did a great job with designing those
