Description
This is my entry for the Art Nouveau fairy tales contest: www.deviantart.com/journal/201… I chose my favouite fairy tale- 'Beauty and the Beast', but I decided to go for an interesting twist- Beauty and the Beast existing in the same person. Blessed by light and cursed by darkness at the same time.
I used my OC Hetta as inspiration for Beauty as she is a complex character- both a heroine and an anti-heroine at the same time.
I based her pose on Mucha's poster for champagne:
